 Good news today:Today, October 15, 2008 we were notified by the Illinois department of Transportation that the preliminary engineering and environmental work will begin on the widening of Greenbay road from the Wisconsin state line to Sunset Ave. in Waukegan. We have waited a long time just to get this going at all. It will be a slow process but we are on the way. Our longer range plan is to re-route Major avenue South to Wakefield and place a traffic signal at 33rd and Greenbay Road. That will give residents of Heatherstone and . . .
