"The mission of the Tidal Waves program is to improve and enhance the talents of each female athlete through the education of softball, the accomplishment of goals and to compete at a competitive level of play that will develop the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork."

The Crystal Lake Tidal Waves Girls Fastpitch Softball Organization is now entering its 17th year. The Tidal Waves are a non profit organization of five tournament teams made up of over 85 female athletes, ranging in age from 9 to 18. These athletes represent over 20 different communities throughout the Northwest suburbs. The teams work year round developing their skills and techniques, striving to reach each girls potential as a quality softball player and person.
