Chadwick Anthony Coombe was born at 2:02 am on February 10, 2007 at 26 weeks 2 days gestation. His premature birth was due to Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM). Mom did not exhibit any of the known reasons for PPROM (infection, incompetent cervix, etc.) and doctors do not know why this happened. Chadwick survived for about 20 hours on a respirator. He simply did not have enough lung tissue to live so that we could get to know him and see him grow up. He died at 10:30 pm the same day he was born as his mother held him in her arms and prayed for God to receive him into heaven.
